We offer support, advice, provide updates, share national developments and play a vital role in developing national and local policy informed by practice. Join us as we raise awareness and tackle child sexual exploitation and trafficking. 

Our team is made up of specialists and volunteers from this field of work including Safeguarding, Law Enforcement, Health and Youth Participation and are here to offer support and expertise to the network.
 
NWG Exploitation Response Unit proactively engage with Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCBs) and their partner agencies, researchers and policy writers tackling child sexual exploitation through; training, prevention work, disruption, prosecution and therapeutic care for victims and survivors by sharing good practice, developing according to need and actively seeking good practice from other countries tackling sexual exploitation and trafficking within the UK.
 
The NWG Exploitation Response Unit is the only sexual exploitation network working across voluntary and statutory agencies tackling child sexual exploitation with links across Europe, South East Asia and USA exchanging knowledge, understanding, dedicated to seeking ways to find alternative solutions in the fight to stop the exploitation of children and young people.

Special Interest Forums

Our Special Interest Forums offer an opportunity for practitioners to discuss and debate issues relating to the sensitive nature of child sexual exploitation; to network, share good practice, discuss challenges and seek solutions. Open discussions take place in a secure and confidential environment. Our Police and Health forums are closed and only open to police and health professionals. Special Interest Forums include; Boys & Young Men, Practitioners, LSCB Strategic Leads, CSE Coordinators, Police, Serious Case Review, Participation, Health, Hotel and Licensing. Forums are £5 to attend and are open to all, allowing us to continue this vital work.

Master Classes

In-depth events offer an exploration of health, law enforcement, Safeguarding and Youth Participation in the context of Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking.

Specialist Seminars

Our regular specialist seminars present an excellent learning opportunity to hear specialists in the field of CE in a small group setting, which is conducive to learning and discussion.
